Program participant nominated for Telstra Business Awards

It is with great joy that we announce the nomination of one of our program participants, Kay Saarinen from Saarinen Organics, for a Telstra Business Award. This is a fantastic outcome for our program and something that we are very proud of.
Kay and husband Greg have been working on their dream to create a permaculture-based self sufficient lifestyle for the last 10 years. What started out as an organic farm and a market stall has now turned into a full time production featuring a purpose-built lab, 37 products, a thriving Permaculture farm and farm tours.
Kay makes all of the bases on site in her lab, and uses only the highest quality of ingredients which she either grows herself or sources from other local farmers. Supporting the local farming industry is something that’s really important to both Kay and Greg, so they try to stick with local ingredients as much as possible.
The lifestyle and their hard work has seen Kay and greg achieve their goals of living off grid in an ethically made and sourced home while being self sufficient with their food and income.
Kay was one of our program participants. By joining she was able to gain access to theĀ iAccelerate Innovation Network and tin turn, the tools to achieve her business dreams. BVIH is a community of innovators and like minded people who are all on the same journey. The program supports and empowers startups , scale-ups and entrepreneurs to shape bold new paths to sustainable growth and jobs.
