Resident business: fighting the climate with kelp

Kelp farmer and Beqa Valley Innovation Hub resident Jo Lane is a woman on a mission to pioneer commercial kelp farming in Australia and help the environment while she’s at it.

With a drive to improve on the environmental situation, Jo and Husband Warren Atkins own and operate Sea Health Products. The operation see’s the duo sustainably hand-harvest kelp, dry it out and then turn it into a unique range of specialist health products for your cooking and self care.

Jo has known of the regenerative benefits of kelp for years, her background in environmental conservation and marine science playing a vital role in her understanding of the benefits of kelp, and helping to drive the idea behind Sea Health Products.
